This video discusses the over expanding use of technology in all aspects. It is determined that the growth rate of technology is over the rate in which Americans are learning compared to that of other countries; therefore causing Americans to spend more on the ever changing global technologies. It's becoming a brighter future with the change in technology because the children are better equipped through hands on experiences. Teachers are provided with professional development that ensures that they are keeping up with the changes in technology enhanced world.

Mr.Winkle Wakes: Matthew Needleman

This presentation shows us how generation after generation has been inspired by different ways of learning. It is important as an educator to see learners in different aspects allowing for the use of technology to gain a sense of learning through a variety of engaging experiences to relate to its technologies. Being a teacher requires you to step outside your comfort zone and allow the students to be the teacher and the teacher to facilitate the students learning.  Children learn through experience and peers. Once a student in comfortable in his/her environment  it will allow for them to grow through leaps and bounds. This will promote a need to keep up with the challenges we face through the use of technology.

The Importance of Creativity:

Although this video was lengthy; it was extremely valuable and interesting to see and understand ones views on how creativity and literacy are becoming equally creditable in the value of how an individual learns. Creativity expresses how one thinks about what they are thinking about. Literacy will fall in place by allowing one to be focused on their own individual learning. Sir Ken Robinson expresses clarity on the learning of that in whom is a creative thinker. I value the credits he gives to individuals whose learning is different from that which is to be considered normal learning.

My Future Classroom

My name is Kimberly Hatch and I am a character education teacher. I teach second graders, I am presently in my first year of teaching character educational classes to my students. Today my lesson will focus on the importance of my students begin learning at an early sage in their lives about building their goals and setting their self-esteem high in life. At the beginning of the class I would try my best with focusing in the 9 teaching methods of teaching styles. For instance, I would ask my students what does the words goal and self- esteem means. I would use equality sticks for checking for understanding. After checking how well my students understand the importance of goal setting and developing high self-esteem mean. I will instruct to my students how goals are something in their lives that they desire or want to achieve or accomplish. Self- esteem is all about having the inner belief that they can accomplish their goals.

Then within my instructional guidance, I will move my attention on my visual tools that I will be utilizing throughout my teaching. The main tools that my students and I will use are small square blocks that I will then distribute to my students. First, I stand in front of my classroom and demonstrate to the student on conveying the usage of the blocks to symbolize their goals to the blocks. I would carefully use the blocks to build the platform and entirety of success for my students to accomplish their goals and have a profound solid self- esteem. The base of my tower will use about six blocks on the bottom. The next will have about five blocks then four and so forth. My final visual tower will be compare to a pyramid like building. I then will have my students to make a tower of goals with each level symbolizing goals and their self- esteem ( method of I, we, and then you). As a teacher, I  will reinforce to my students on how each level of blocks being built they are achieving and accomplishing their goals and building their self- esteem. I will also utilize my smart board by having an example of pyramid picture displayed on my smart board.

Next, I will have the students  to explain each of their pyramid by once utilizing my equality sticks on calling in the names of the student. By doing this process, I will be checking for understanding from the lesson topic and matter. The students will go into depth with explaining their goals of life this will automatically empower my student's self- esteem. Of course, my classroom will have a learning atmosphere and environment. I will also have renowned  celebrities dispending from my ceiling in my classroom where my students will grasp the understanding that even their goals can be accomplish symbolically as the celebrities' goals were accomplish and achieved. I will end my instructional time with my student's by saying my motto "Determination Today Lead To Success Tomorrow"!

Finally, one can easily understand and see how important it is for our students to learn about goals setting and developing great self- esteem. My teaching strategies and methods, usage of tools, my student's learning process and my classroom itself gave my students the appropriate learning environment that they need throughout this classroom assignment and their lives.
